The NSW Resources Regulator has reported fire occurred in the crusher house in an open cut mine.

A control room operator saw fire through the closed-circuit television (CCTV) system in a crusher house. The operator entered the crusher house attempting to extinguish the fire. Shortly after, a loader operator noticed the control room operator leaving the crusher house, followed by the collapse of the crusher house. The control room operator suffered smoke inhalation.
